Hi,
I’M RAY
I help worship songwriters go FURTHER, FASTER.
I've spent years honing the craft of worship songwriting, writing songs that have been sung by congregations on every continent. I’ve also spent years mentoring songwriters -helping them sharpen the talents God has given them.
Here's what I've learned: the gap between "trying hard" and "writing well" rarely closes with more effort. It closes when someone shows you where to put that effort.
I now serve songwriters all over the world, helping them close that gap -helping them grow in craft, knowledge, and calling.
Ben Fielding

“Ray Badham has the rare ability not just to write songs that have impacted millions of people globally, but also to break down the craft in order to teach and train songwriters. I’ve watched Ray do this diligently and passionately for decades. He has been a consistent voice, advocating for how rich theological truth can intersect with a sound theory of musical composition.”
Mia Fieldes
Grammy-nominated songwriter behind “Chain Breaker" (Zach Williams), "Tremble" (Mosaic MSC), "He Knows My Name" (Francesca Battistelli), "First" (Lauren Daigle), and "Something Has To Break" (Kari Jobe)

“I’ve really been impacted by Ray Badham, not just by his songwriting, but by who he is. There’s a sincerity and depth in the way he writes that comes from a real walk with God, and you can feel that in every song. His songs aren’t just well-crafted, they carry something that helps people genuinely encounter the presence of God.
What I appreciate even more is his heart to equip others. As a teacher, Ray has a special grace to make songwriting both accessible and meaningful. He doesn’t just teach technique, he draws out purpose, helping songwriters write from a place of authenticity and faith.
I’m truly grateful for his voice, his generosity, and the way he continues to invest into the Church.”
