Ray Badham is a Papua-New-Guinea-born worship songwriter, educator and creative communicator whose passion for worship songs, music, and theology has shaped his multifaceted career.

His original songs have been streamed over 20 million times.

As a member of the Hillsong worship team, he has contributed to 17 Hillsong worship albums as songwriter, producer, music director, and guitarist.

Songs he has written include "Magnificent," "Adonai," and "In Your Freedom," which are worship songs sung in churches worldwide. His desire is to write Christ-centred songs that awaken and deepen people's relationship with Jesus, opening hearts more fully to the gospel.

He serves churches and conferences as a speaker, consults to church worship teams and creative communities, runs worship songwriting workshops and songwriting courses, and mentors worship songwriters. His passion is to empower artists and creative organisations to flourish in their calling and to create work that helps others flourish.

Drawing on his extensive experience in teaching and speaking on worship music, Ray has developed numerous college courses covering theology of worship, worship leadership, songwriting, and musicianship. His teaching combines ministry experience and industry insight with a focus on substance and artistry, skill and creative process.

His teaching is centred on three goals:

3. Transformation - facilitating genuine heart transformation.
